'Naked' lover caught hiding In trunk, thrashed by woman’s family in UP's Agra

In a shocking incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, a man who had gone to meet a married woman was caught hiding naked inside a trunk and brutally assaulted by her family members. The entire ordeal was captured on camera and has since gone viral across social media platforms.

According to reports, suspicions arose among the woman's family members after they noticed unusual activity at home. Upon checking, they found the man hiding without clothes in a trunk, allegedly to avoid detection. Enraged, the woman's husband and other family members tied the man's hands with a rope and thrashed him mercilessly with sticks.

A viral video shows the man pleading with folded hands, asking to be spared, but the family members continued their assault. The incident attracted the attention of locals, who rushed to the spot after hearing the commotion.

The incident once again sheds light on rising cases of mob violence, particularly in situations involving alleged extramarital affairs. Despite the brutality, there were no immediate reports of police intervention or arrests following the viral video.

Meanwhile, a similar case was reported from Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh, where another couple allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship was tied up and beaten by family members. That incident, too, was recorded and widely circulated, prompting local police to take cognisance.
